Security Warning adware

What is Security Warning. Removal reasons and methods

The Security Warning virus is of the "Tech support scam" type, and in itself is not dangerous to the system. This is a program that penetrates the user's computer and at some point starts showing him various pop-ups, warnings and additional tabs in the browser, which say that the computer is infected with a terrible virus that cannot be deleted. More precisely, you can delete it only if you call the toll-free number specified on the window, or if you download a special anti-virus program. Scammers try to make these warnings as plausible as possible, and often in the title of the programs or in the text of the message there are names of well-known manufacturers of anti-virus or any other software. Do not let this lead you astray: scammers have nothing to do with Microsoft either with Apple or with any other reputable company. Another of the tricks of scammers is locking the browser. Having visited a malicious website, or already having a Security Warning virus on your computer, you may encounter such a problem. Opening a new tab, you will see a pop-up window, similar to a message from the browser. This window cannot be closed, and therefore many users believe in what is written there. To get rid of this - just close the browser in the task manager, and then start a new session.

For those readers who have not yet encountered similar threats, we will explain everything in detail: if you, while using your PC, or surfing the web, saw a message stating that your computer is infected with a virus - it is an attempt to deceive you. Scammers try to frighten the user, so he downloaded their virus, or called them. Of course, the number indicated in the message is not free, and if you call, you will be very surprised by the amount in the next bill from telephone company. In addition to fraud with a toll call, they will try to sell expensive and absolutely useless antivirus, and also will offer to install remote access to your PC so that a specialist can remove the virus himself. Do not call at the number offered in such messages, and do not agree to anything. The only thing you should do in this situation is scan the system for viruses, and reset the browser settings. In the following parts of the article, we will tell you how to quickly and effectively remove Security Warning from your computer and from the browser.
